Transport Team Leader

As a Transport Team Leader at Greggs, you will take on additional responsibilities and showcase your leadership qualities. You'll play a crucial role in overseeing our fleet and driver training, ensuring safety and compliance are top priorities. We provide comprehensive training, including CPC, Advanced Driver training, Tachograph training, DVWC, Slow Manoeuvre, and The Highway Code training. In addition, Greggs covers the cost of DCPC, Driver medicals, and Driver card.

As a Transport Team Leader, you will lead team huddles, provide direction, and ensure everyone is aware of daily targets, health and safety protocols, and food safety procedures. Your role will involve hands-on work, including driving our trucks to deliver products to our customers efficiently.

• You have prior experience in team leadership and enjoy contributing to the success of your colleagues

• You possess a Category CE/Class 1 or Category C/Class 2 driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points

• You hold an up-to-date Driver CPC card and training

• You have a valid digital Tachograph card

• You can fulfill the shift requirements of the role

• You have a good understanding of vehicle legislation, drivers' hours, and tachograph legislation

• You are adept at communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds

• You excel in planning and organizing tasks for yourself and your team

• You are proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel
