As a valued store team member, you will receive training to handle various responsibilities such as:

• Operating cash registers and managing transactions (including Post Office tasks as needed, subject to DBS check)
• Managing stock levels
• Implementing merchandising strategies
• Preparing food-to-go items (as required)
• Ensuring store compliance with safety and legal regulations
• Assuming supervisor duties when needed (with additional pay)
• Working independently (as necessary)

The hourly pay rate for this position ranges from £8.60 to £11.44, depending on the applicant's age.

About our company

In 2022, Morrisons acquired the McColl’s business, which includes a network of 1,004 convenience stores and newsagents. Our portfolio encompasses Morrisons Daily, McColl’s, Martins, and R S McColl stores across England, Scotland, and Wales.

We have ambitious plans for our Convenience segment - by the end of 2023, we aim to convert over 700 McColl’s stores into Morrisons Daily outlets. Our goal is to expand further by converting and acquiring more stores in the future.

We aspire to be the go-to neighbourhood shop, offering a wide range of quality everyday products and services in close proximity to where people reside, ensuring we are always there for our customers when needed.
