Looking for NCSOs / Safety Advisors to be part of our team for an upcoming project at HSE Integrated. The role involves fostering a positive, proactive safety culture to ensure a secure and healthy workplace environment.
- Project Location: Camp located south of Fort McMurray
- Start Date / Duration: August 5th to September 20th (47 days)
- Rotation: Flexible schedules tailored to individuals
- Shifts: Both day and night shifts
- Onboarding/Travel: Coordination between Edmonton and Fort McMurray
Key Responsibilities of NCSOs:
- Conducting OH&S orientations for employees and contractors
- Performing field inspections and audits to identify non-compliance issues and suggest corrective measures
- Aiding in the development of hazard assessments, fall protection plans, rescue plans, JSA’s, HSI’s, and more
- Conducting safety meetings with work crews
- Assisting in incident investigations
- Preparing summary reports for clients specific to projects
- Ensuring follow-up and tracking of corrective actions from incident investigations, audits, inspections, and hazard reports
- Providing guidance on compliance with Provincial OH&S legislations and company policies
- Offering mentorship and guidance to employees as a valuable resource
- Compiling statistical data and reports as necessary
- Staying updated on current client and OH&S regulations
Requirements:
- National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation – Alberta Construction Safety Association
- Open to both newly registered and experienced NCSOs
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed-term contract
Contract Length: 47 days
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends if required
