Role: Library Manager

Location: LACAS Canal Side Campus

Experience: 3 to 4 years in managing library resources in an educational institution

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the library's collection, including acquiring, cataloging, and circulating books and materials
• Provide guidance to students and staff for utilizing library resources effectively
• Develop educational programs to enhance literacy and research skills
• Maintain both digital and physical library resources up to date and accessible
• Collaborate with faculty to integrate library materials into the curriculum
• Organize library events and activities
• Manage administrative tasks like budgeting, reporting, and inventory management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in an educational library setting
• Proficiency in library management systems and digital resources
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Strong teamwork skills with students, staff, and faculty

Skills:

• Up-to-date knowledge of library science and information management
• Ability to design and implement impactful library programs and services
• Proficient in research and reference services
• Experience working with various library resources, digital and traditional

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Rs35,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
