Join our team at H&M as a Fashion Sales Consultant where you will have the opportunity to assist customers in staying stylish and up-to-date with the latest trends! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and profitability in the store. Your main focus will be on enhancing the shopping experience for our customers through excellent product knowledge, efficient store operations, and garment care. By fostering a positive work environment and sharing your expertise with colleagues, you will play a crucial part in building a strong team to meet customer expectations. The position adheres to H&M's standards, policies, procedures, and legal guidelines.

This position will report to Department Managers while also maintaining a connection with the Department Supervisor.

What You'll Do on a Regular Basis:

• Warmly welcome and engage with customers in service areas and on the sales floor to deliver top-notch customer service
• Contribute to maintaining a well-organized sales floor to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by arranging, displaying, and merchandising garments according to H&M guidelines in order to optimize sales opportunities
• Assist in unloading delivery trucks, sorting, unpacking, and labeling merchandise with security tags within designated timelines
• Actively participate in stocking, replenishing, and organizing garments on the sales floor and in the stockroom
• Operate the cash register, complete necessary transactions, generate receipts, and pack goods efficiently following established register procedures
• Promote and educate customers on the H&M Loyalty program
• Share your knowledge and skills with team members, offering assistance as needed to foster a positive work environment
• Adhere to H&M standards, as well as health, safety, and security regulations to ensure the well-being of yourself, colleagues, and customers
• Follow safety, security, and administrative protocols consistently in all store areas

• A passion for providing exceptional customer service and assisting individuals in defining their unique style
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and adept at multitasking

• Strong teamwork abilities with a flexible outlook
• Capability to lift items weighing over 20 pounds
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, perform repetitive tasks, and carry various items for short distances
• Capacity to climb ladders and use step stools
• Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
