Role: Financial Administration Specialist

Description:

We are currently looking for a meticulous Financial Administration Specialist to join our Accounts team at Falco Construction Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial acumen, thrive in high-pressure environments, excel at multitasking, and uphold the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with company protocols in every financial transaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process and document incoming invoices, ensuring prompt resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Facilitate payments to suppliers via a variety of methods, including checks and electronic transfers.
  • Create and distribute customer invoices promptly, while overseeing and resolving any outstanding balances.
  • Record customer payments and reconcile accounts receivable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions in the general ledger.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by managing journal entries and reconciliations up to trial balance.
  • Manage cash flow and handle VAT returns.
  • Execute payroll functions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Thorough understanding of financial processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in numerical analysis.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Sage 50.

Experience:

Preferably 5+ years in a similar financial role, with experience in construction or civil engineering sectors.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per annum
