Job Description


Our client, a respected organization in the travel industry, is seeking a dynamic Finance Manager, Systems & Process Lead to drive a cloud-based ERP system transformation for Finance core processes. The role involves defining and implementing transformation and improvement changes across the end-to-end Finance core process.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with core process stakeholders, the Finance Business Services Delivery team, and the Business Operations team to prioritize and implement transformation and improvement initiatives. Promote innovation, introduce new working methods, and lead change efforts.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for system integration within specific areas of the end-to-end core process. Recognize interdependencies with other core processes, including non-Finance processes.
  • Determine and propose improvements based on business needs. Drive continual improvement and ensure that process solutions align with the organization's current and future objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for system-related challenges and changes. Assist the Systems & Process Owner in influencing process enhancements outside of specialized areas and within data structures.
  • Participate actively in Oracle's customer community forums to gather insights from other organizations and shape Oracle's future functionality roadmap.
  • Ensure that the Finance core process effectively mitigates risks, complies with controls, and meets audit requirements established by Business Owners.
  • Represent the Finance core processes in the Business Operations virtual team (led by the Product Owner within Solutions) to promote progressive business transformation and drive data and systems integration to realize value potential.
  • Create project plans and oversee the implementation of business changes. Proactively manage risks and ensure seamless adoption of new systems and procedures to realize business benefits, securing buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute communication plans and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Include appropriate formal sign-off checkpoints.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Systems or Programme Transformation delivery, showing accomplishments in the relevant areas of expertise.
  • Qualified Finance professional or experienced Procurement/Accounts Payable Specialist with a deep understanding of the core processes, systems, benchmarking, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills; can establish rapid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities, managing risks, and meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Focus on realizing benefits, identify improvement opportunities in collaboration with business service delivery teams, and drive the implementation of necessary changes.
  • Proven record of driving successful change initiatives and leading subject matter experts indirectly through transformations.

This is a full-time, Hybrid Inside IR35 contract position for an initial 6-month term, extendable up to 12 months or longer, based in West London offices for 1-2 days per week.
