ABC Company is a prominent in-home care organization operating in the London Borough of Hounslow with a dedicated team of over 90 employees. With a track record of more than 2.3 million care visits since 1995, ABC Company enjoys a stellar reputation.

We are currently expanding our workforce and seeking 2-3 individuals to job share the critical on-call position.

The on-call rotation spans from 16:30 to 09:00 Monday to Thursday, and from 16:30 Friday to 09:00 Monday.

Our duties involve caring for elderly, disabled, and vulnerable individuals in their residences, offering personal assistance. Successful candidates should be empathetic and supportive when addressing any concerns expressed by the Service Users.

Prior experience is not obligatory, as comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates.

Reporting to: General Manager

Required Qualities: Ability to perform well under pressure, proficient in using computers, possessing a courteous and amiable telephone manner, organized with keen attention to detail, capable of taking initiative and making crucial decisions.

Education: Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, Outlook.

Professional Background: Preference will be given to individuals with past experience in team environments and good interpersonal skills. Ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities/Job Description: The on-call service acts as an after-hours extension of the office and necessitates efficient running. Key responsibilities include ensuring all visits are completed and digitally documented (training will be provided on utilizing our software for this purpose). Responding to calls, documenting information for the office's handover via email and in person, and addressing any queries from caregivers, Service Users, or hospital teams. Given the need for in-person handover at the office, residence within or close proximity to the London Borough of Hounslow is required.

Shift Structure: We intend to assemble a team of 3 individuals working on a rotating basis, one week in every three: Monday evening to Thursday morning and Friday evening to Monday morning (ensuring one person will have rest days each week!).
