Job Description

W.S. Bell Cartage, a reputable transportation company dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, is based in Kitchener, Ontario. We embody core family values of accountability, excellence, and reliability. Currently, we are in search of a talented Dispatcher Planner/Customer Service Representative to complement our team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring a positive customer experience
• Communicate with drivers effectively and efficiently
• Deliver top-notch customer service by organizing, planning, and prioritizing customer requirements
• Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with both customers and drivers
• Generate timely spot and rate quotes for customers
• Identify, choose, and negotiate optimal solutions to consistently exceed customer expectations
• Accurately input orders and customer contracts into Fleet Manager
• Provide precise instructions to drivers for pickup and delivery tasks
• Monitor and track shipments to offer customers timely updates
• Coordinate all essential documentation with customers and drivers
• Address customer concerns promptly, accurately, and amicably
• Execute other assigned projects and duties

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or US inbound dispatching
• Preferably hold a College or University Degree
• Knowledge of flatbed, over-dimensional, dry van, or reefer operations is advantageous
• Familiarity with Fleet Manager and Loadlink is a plus
• Proficiency in Spanish or French language is an asset

Compensation: $17.00-$28.00 per hour

• 10-hour shifts
• 8-hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
