Job Description


CanWest is currently seeking to hire multiple experienced Concrete Saw Operators and a skilled Concrete Cutting Foreman for our bustling Leduc Location.

Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

  • Precisely measure and mark cut lines before commencing cutting operations
  • Operate and upkeep the allocated concrete saw proficiently
  • Supervise and collaborate with a general laborer to manage slurry vacuuming
  • Coordinate with dispatch and project managers to ensure timely task completion
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned equipment
  • Adhere strictly to safe operating procedures at all times
  • Capable of supervising and guiding general laborers in task completion

Qualifications & Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Class 5 license and have personal means of transportation
  • Experience in trailer driving is considered an asset
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and dependable individual
  • Prior experience with saws, measurements, and materials on construction sites is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential for the safe execution of duties
