Job Description


We are looking for a Branch Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations at our facility in Saskatoon. Reporting to the Saskatchewan Operations Manager, this role offers exposure to various aspects of the Logistics & Supply Chain industry, making it an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking career growth and industry experience.

The ideal candidate should be based in Saskatoon or a nearby town as this is an on-site role.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in office & warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, routing, dispatching, customer service, and training.

· Ensure efficient and effective operations at the Saskatoon branch.

· Manage personnel including attendance, recruitment, social activities, and feedback.

· Take on a leadership role within the facility.

· Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients through various communication channels.

· Supervise dispatching of fleet drivers and owner operators.

· Coordinate with drivers on delivery status and address any related issues.

· Prepare reports for management.

· Arrange fleet maintenance and repairs.

· Implement health & safety procedures at the facility.

· Generate invoices, handle billing, and manage administrative tasks.

· Provide support to other teams as required.

Qualifications:

· Strong attention to detail.

· Previous customer service experience.

· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

· Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities.

· Team-oriented with the ability to foster collaboration.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

· Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

· Proficiency in various computer applications including Tracking Software, GPS, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent English communication skills.

· Previous experience in transportation/courier industry is a plus.

· Must be eligible to work in Canada.
